Franny B. Kranny There's a Bird in Your Hair! A Fab Picture Book + DIY Hair Clip Organizer!

Franny B Kranny, There's a Bird in Your Hair has always been a favorite on our bookshelf and I'm so glad we're getting to feature it!

A feisty redhead, colorful illustrations and a memorable story make this a fantastic picture book you'll absolutely adore!

Franny B. Kranny, There's a Bird in Your Hair! is the kind of book that you'll enjoy each time you read it!

The title tells it all and it makes for a hilarious read-aloud or read alone!

Franny B. Kranny loves her long, curly and extremely frizzy red hair so much that she doesn't want to get it cut, despite her parents' and sister's constant efforts to get her to do so.

Even though Franny's hair gets caught in the fridge, snags on buttons, and is quite the trip to comb through, well, Franny just can't bear the thought of that changing!

When Franny's family has to attend a reunion, though, her mother takes her to the salon and Franny finds herself with a new 'do whether she likes it or not!

Initially not thrilled at this prospect, Franny has a change of heart after an unexpected visitor has her looking at things with a "bird's eye view" of the situation!

Prepare to be amused by Franny, her sister and their entire family throughout this fun picture book!

Endlessly entertaining, Franny B Kranny is filled with fun illustrations and an unusual cast of characters, not to mention the 'fabulous' hairstyles!

The colorful, whimsical illustrations and cover art really bring the tale to life! From start to finish, Franny B Kranny's crazy hair adventures will make you laugh!

At the time of publishing this post, this book is still available through both libraries and online booksellers. It's worth the effort of finding and adding to your bookshelf!

You'll definitely be smiling at the outcome of this sweet story and keeping an eye out for feathered friends the next time you get a new hairdo!
