A little confusing, but Enchantée is going to be the name of the two- book series, which is exciting to know there's a second adventure to look forward to!

After her parents pass away, seventeen-year-old Camille Durbonne must find a solution to save herself and her younger sister from poverty, while keeping an eye on her unreliable older brother.
Thrust into a precarious position, Camille uses magic her mother had taught her, transforming odds and ends into coins to help pay for what they need.
Soon though, Camille realizes she needs another plan and turns to the dark magic her mother told her never to try, setting her sights on the royal court of France.
In order to achieve that goal, Camille transforms herself into a baroness, and goes to the lavish and complicated Palace of Versailles, with aristocrats and nobility who aren't all what they seem!
Concealing her identity, Camille moves throughout the palace walls, finding much more to the court and people in it then she imagined.
The excess and decadence at the court of Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI are a stark opposite to the whispers of revolution in Paris, making Camille question what she really wants.
Unsure how to make her next move, Camille meets a young inventor whose views and ideas give her hope to push through, and dream of a possible romance to keep her going as well.
As the charade goes on however, Camille must decide what she stands for as her world is turned upside down.
